Welcome to the West Monroe Baptist Church Website. It is my privilege to open this Website with a note of encouragement to all who view it. I pray that this Website will help in your spiritual growth in the Lord Jesus Christ. This Website was designed for a least two reasons (1) To inform people about West Monroe Baptist Church, and more importantly, (2) To lead people to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

God is truly blessing the ministry of West Monroe Baptist Church. In February 2005, I had the privilege of sharing with the congregation God’s purpose for West Monroe. Our purpose is to proclaim God’s Word, to strengthen believers, to reach unbelievers, and to glorify God. The members of West Monroe can accomplish this purpose through Worship, Evangelism, Stewardship, Teaching, Ministry, Obedience, Nurturing, Relationships, Ordinances, and Equipping. It is exciting to have direction from the Lord for the future. The Bible says in Proverbs 29:18, “Where there is no revelation (vision), the people cast off restraint; but happy is he who keeps the law” (NKJV).

I pray that if you are looking for a church that stands on the Word of God, then you will attend one or more of our worship services this week (see Calendar of Events). Our church would love to have the opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ with you and your family.

The staff and I would be honored to speak with you about how God can use you to serve Jesus Christ in our community and beyond. Daily, we have the privilege of seeing lives radically changed by the power of God’s amazing grace. God truly has His hand on the people of West Monroe.
